Why doesn't the CIA eliminate Bob Lazar?
- You cannot send in the CIA to take someone like him out. He’s not that important of an asset to go through all that risk for the CIA. There are limits to what the CIA and Mossad can do. You would need to be able to use many local assets to get him away from those watching him, and how do you expect to do that?
- When you take someone out of the country, when they’re being guarded, that’s going to be difficult. Why risk the lives of CIA agents in highly risk missions for someone who isn’t under threat of being killed? The world isn’t Hollywood or Mission Impossible. It takes a long time to collect intelligence. It’s not like some mission where you could simply fly out without encountering Turkish planes.
